What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences or keep a feature working across pages. Similar technologies such as local storage may also be used for the same kinds of purposes.
Your choice
When you first visit, a cookie banner asks whether you want analytics. Essential cookies (needed for the shop to work) run without that choice. Analytics and performance measurement load only if you select “Accept analytics”. You can change your mind anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.
Your choice is stored in local storage on your device (stf_cookie_consent) so we remember it on later visits.
Essential cookies and storage
These are needed for features you ask for, such as shopping and checkout offers. We do not use them for advertising profiles.
- stf_spin — a first-party functional cookie that stores a signed spin-wheel discount award or “used” state so your offer can be applied at checkout. It typically lasts up to 14 days.
- Basket and related shop preferences may be kept in local storage so your cart survives page refreshes.
- Session or security cookies may be set by our hosting platform as needed to deliver the site securely.
Optional analytics
If you accept analytics, we use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. These tools are designed to collect aggregated, non-identifying usage and performance data. They do not set advertising cookies and are not used to build cross-site advertising profiles.
If you choose “Essential only”, those analytics scripts are not loaded.
Managing cookies
Use Cookie settings in the site footer to reopen the banner and switch analytics on or off. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the spin cookie, checkout may not apply a spin discount. Essential site features may still work.
For more on how we handle personal data, see our Privacy Policy.
Updates
If we introduce marketing cookies or change how analytics works, we will update this policy and, where required by Irish/EU ePrivacy rules, ask again for consent. Last updated: 1 November 2026.
